Pre-compiled versions for the CERN supported platforms are available from
/cvmfs/dphep.cern.ch/cernlibThere is a script available to initialise it, e.g. from lxplus with bash do
. /cvmfs/dphep.cern.ch/cernlib/setup.shor in case of (t)csh:
source /cvmfs/dphep.cern.ch/cernlib/setup.cshThis will set a bunch of environment variables and update the search path such that paw and ypatchy are found.
Only decent version of cernlib support xrootd. To use such binaries, make sure that you have xrootd-client installed, in particular XrdPreload.so must be present on your system. To enable xrootd support, use
export CERNLIB_XROOTD=ON . /cvmfs/dphep.cern.ch/cernlib/setup.shfor bash/zsh etc or
setenv CERNLIB_XROOTD ON source /cvmfs/dphep.cern.ch/cernlib/setup.cshfor tcsh, csh etc. Note that you have to set this variable before sourcing the environment, as described above.
