The Billion Prices Project
The BPP was an academic initiative founded in 2008 by Alberto Cavallo at Harvard and Roberto Rigobon at MIT to conduct research on macro and international economics. It is no longer active, but its datasets are available on this website and this type of research continues at the HBS Pricing Lab.
