NATAL MUSEUM (SOUTH AFRICA) - OPPORTUNITIES FOR
INVERTEBRATE RESEARCHERS

specialises in taxonomic and systematic research on a variety of
invertebrate animals. There are currently opportunities for established
researchers as well as people interested in developing a career in fields of
endeavour supported by the museum.

the following taxa - Mollusca (mainly marine), Insecta (Diptera or
Heteroptera), Arachnida, Myriapoda and Oligochaeta, and to assist in the
provision of other heritage services relating to the museum's overall mission.
Requirements: A postgraduate degree in the natural sciences. Although an
established interest in systematic research within one of the fields listed
above would be a strong recommendation, the museum is prepared to
provide opportunities for young scientists to establish their careers.

appointment level), plus a range of other standard benefits.
