To back up a vault store

1. On the navigation bar, click the arrow next to Backup.

2. Click New Backup Job.

3. In the backup selections view, expand Enterprise Vault.

4. Do one of the following:

   
   

   To back up an Enterprise Vault 7.x vault store

   To the following in the order listed:

   • Expand a Directory on <Computer_name> that contains the vault store that you want to back up.

   • Expand the Enterprise Vault site that contains the vault store that you want to back up.

   • Expand the Enterprise Vault server that contains the vault store that you want to back up.

   To back up an Enterprise Vault 8.x vault store

   Do the following in the order listed:

   • Expand a Directory on <Computer_name> that contains the vault store that you want to back up.

   • Expand the Enterprise Vault site that contains the vault store that you want to back up.

   • Expand a vault store group.

5. Select a vault store.

6. In the task pane, under Settings, click Enterprise Vault.

7. Select a backup method.

8. In the task pane, select other backup options as appropriate.

9. Do one of the following:

   
   

   To run the job now

   Click Run Now.

   To schedule the job to run later

   Do the following in the order listed:

   • In the task pane, under Frequency, click Schedule.

   • Set the scheduling options.

     See Scheduling jobs.

   • Click Submit.
