The exercises, activities, and resources in this Scale Steps package are designed to take players beyond the basic scale in a smooth progression that leads to a huge array of scale possibilities on the Native American flute. Rather than sheet music and prescribed exercises, we use finger diagrams and improvisation to build experience and skill.
Scale Steps was developed in January 2019 for our two Japan-based workshops.
