SGML University Presents "Making XML Work"
SGML University is pleased to present "Making XML Work", the
first XML course with "hands-on" experience using XML tools. The
course will be taught by Tim Bray and Brian Travis.
Tim Bray is a member of the committee that created XML, and was a
driving force behind its development and implementation. Tim
recently chaired the first conference devoted to XML.
Brian Travis is the Chancellor of SGML University, President of
Information Architects, and co-author of The SGML Implementation
Guide.
XML101 is an intensive hands-on tutorial using XML tools that
will soon be available to the general public. This course will
allow you to understand what XML is and get a head start on
developing your own XML applications.

 The XML standard itself
 In depth, with hands-on examples
 Comparisons of Web-based delivery standards

 XML, SGML, and the World Wide Web
 Real-life considerations

 Using XML as an onramp to SGML
 Hands-on Workshop
 Writing SGML to XML converters
 Open session
The course will be held in Denver, Colorado on April 28-30. The
registration fee is 1,200ドル. Each student will receive 1.8
continuing education units.
