I am desperate to get mock app running for me.
I'm a taxi driver and when I put mock app on the driver app it shuts down the driver app and won't let me work until I Uninstall the mock app and exit developer mode.
You have the ultimate solution my friend?

    there are several xposed modules which allow to spoof location, but I have no idea if they are working on newer Android versions. I think that best shot is XPrivacyLua:
