We provide safe, cost effective and reliable uranium enrichment services and fuel cycle products for power generation within a framework of high environmental, social responsibility and corporate governance standards.
Our customers typically supply us with natural uranium, uranium hexafluoride, which we then enrich to international specifications, using centrifuge technology designed and deployed by Urenco. Through the flexible operation of this technology, we are also able to provide products and services beyond enrichment.
We take our uranium stewardship responsibility very seriously, which is why we have subsidiaries dedicated to overseeing our work in this area.
Our stable isotopes business utilises our expertise in centrifuge technology to produce isotope products with social, environmental and commercial value.
Enrichment Technology Company is a joint venture company owned by Urenco and Orano. It provides enrichment plant design services and gas centrifuge technology for enrichment plants through its subsidiaries in France, Germany, the Netherland and the UK.
Urenco Limited’s head office is located in Stoke Poges, UK. Urenco’s subsidiary, Urenco Enrichment Company, responsible for sales, supply and logistics, is primarily based here along with other business functions.
Urenco Inc. and Urenco USA Inc., both Delaware registered companies, are based in Arlington, USA. Urenco Inc. markets our enrichment services and fuel cycle products and Urenco USA Inc. owns our US enrichment facility in New Mexico, Eunice.
Urenco ChemPlants operates our new Tails Management Facility in the UK, which deconverts the by-product of enrichment into a more stable form for long term storage for future enrichment or final disposal.
