  • Shortly before your subscription expires in a year after your purchase, we will send you an invitation to renew. We send 4 Subscription reminder e-mails (2 months, 1 month, 2 weeks and 1 week prior to expiration). In order to renew, login to Your Account and click on Renewals and Upgrades.
  • Upon making the purchase through our e-store you will find a special 'License Holder Details' section where you will be able to fill out the end-user details (email and name). The license will be automatically activated under the License Holder's account and he/she will receive an email with download instructions whereas the electronic invoice will be sent to the email entered under "Billing Information."

  • The fastest and easiest way to obtain a Telerik product license is through our online store: www.telerik.com/automated-testing-tools/purchase.aspx

    1. After you select a license you will be asked to review and agree to the License Agreement.
    2. On the following screen you will be prompted to enter your billing information and the end-user (the person who will own and manage the license) information.
    3. Finally you will be prompted to enter your payment details.
    4. Within a couple of minutes after placing the order you will receive an automatic purchase confirmation letter.

  • Private customers from EU member states must pay VAT on purchases of electronically-delivered products. If your company resides in the European Union and has a valid VAT-ID, please enter this information in the VAT ID field of the online order form. If you do not enter a VAT ID, you will be recognized as a private customer and the VAT rate for your country will be added to the basic price of the software. Corporate and/or private customers from USA and other non-EU countries are NOT affected by this regulation.


  • Test Studio Licensing

  • Test Studio is offered with a User License with Subscription and Priority Support which gives a specific machine rights to build, modify and execute tests. The User License with Subscription and Priority Support offers free updates and priority support for 1 year.

  • Yes, our Test Studio and Test Studio Run-Time licenses work with license keys. Upon purchase your license key will be generated. To activate your license key you will need to provide your login credentials upon starting the product on your machine.

    For version 2010.1 or earlier the license keys are available in Your Account -> Download and Manage your products -> Test Studio -> Manage Test Studio Activation Keys link.

    Please follow the installation instructions provided in your purchase notification e-mail to successfully activate your license.

  • Yes, you can. Test Studio utilizes a per-machine licensing model. This means your license can be activated multiple times on different machines, but not simultaneously. To swap a license between multiple machines - Install Test Studio on each machine, activate one of those instances with your license and use it. When you want to migrate the license to a different machine, deactivate the current instance. Then activate Test Studio on the other machine. Read more.

  • There are no restrictions on the number of users who work with the same Test Studio or Test Studio Run-Time license as long as the software is used on the licensed machine only and only one user is using the software at any given time. Please note, however, that only 1 user per license will be allowed to access our support system if a support package is included.

  • Yes, our Test Studio and Test Studio Run-Time licenses come with subscription which entitles you to free version updates for 1 year from the purchase date.

  • Absolutely. Our Test Studio and Test Studio Run-Time software does not expire and you can use the version you hold indefinitely. If you decide not to renew your subscription you will stop receiving free version updates and support.

  • If you just need to run tests, not create or edit them, then you can opt for a Test Studio Run-Time license. This is a low-cost license that was designed to run tests build with Test Studio on computers that do not have the Test Studio license installed.

    Test Studio Run-Time license can be used on Continuous Integration Server machines and Test Lab machines where test execution is all what is needed.

  • Test Studio includes a Priority Support Package which guarantees that your support inquiries will be answered within 24h (Mon-Fri).

    Our Test Studio Run-Time license complements the Test Studio license and does not include a support package. To access our support engineers, please use the account where your Test Studio license is registered.

  • Test Studio Run-Time is offered with a Run-Time License which gives a specific machine rights to execute tests, not create or modify them. The Test Studio Run-Time license can be used on Continuous Integration Server machines and Test Lab machines where test execution is all what is needed.

    Our Test Studio Run-Time license offers free updates for 1 year and does not include a support package. To access our support engineers, please use the account where your Test Studio license is registered.

  • The support package for Test Studio expires in 1 year from purchase. To receive another year of priority support, you need to renew your subscription. Note that the subscription renewal will also entitle you to another 12 months of free version updates. If you decide not to renew your subscription, you will still be able to use the forum and KB articles, but you will not be able to take advantage of the online ticketing system or e-mail support.

  • Redistribution rights are not included with Test Studio and Test Studio Run-Time licenses.
  • No, source code is not offered with our Test Studio and Test Studio Run-Time licenses.

  • Test Studio Trials

  • The trial will work for 30 days after you activate it. In case you need more time to evaluate the product, please contact sales with the reason you would need the trial license extended.
  • Yes, we offer fully functional 30-day free trial which is valid for 30 days after the product activation.

    With the evaluation copy you will be entitled to free Trial Support Package and will be able to address all your technical inquiries to our support engineers directly.

  • Subscription Renewals

  • Shortly before your subscription expires (in one, two or three years depending on the subscription plan you purchased), we will send you an invitation to renew. We send 4 reminder e-mails (2 months, 1 month, 2 weeks and 1 week prior to expiration). In order to renew, please login to Your Account and click on Renewals and Upgrades.
  • You can renew your license up to 60 days after the expiration date of your subscription. If you miss this opportunity you will have to purchase a new Test Studio license at a special rate.
  • As a returning customer, you can purchase a license of the latest Test Studio version at a special price. Please, contact teststudiosales@telerik.com to take advantage of the offer.
  • We offer you 2 renewal options depending on when you decide to renew your subscription. The Early Renewal is made prior to the expiration date of your subscription and saves you 50% off the original Test Studio/Test Studio Run-time price. The Late Renewal is made just after your subscription expires, and saves you 35% of Test Studio/Test Studio Run-time price. Read more on subscription renewal.

  • During your Test Studio 30-day trial period not only can you take advantage of all available resources and forum posts but you can also submit a ticket to our support team. Please note that trial support inquiries have a 72 hour response time (Monday – Friday), however often times they are answered much quicker. To obtain support, please visit our online ticketing system.

  • Your Test Studio license comes with 1 year of subscription and priority support which guarantees you 24 hour response time to your support inquiries (Monday – Friday). Test Studio subscriptions also include access to all product updates released within your subscription period.

  • Training

  • Test Studio Product Delivery

  • The software is delivered electronically and delivery time is immediate. If you have placed the order online,you will receive the order confirmation e-mail with software download instructions within minutes. You will be able to download the purchased software from Your Account.

    If you have sent us a Purchase Order, please allow 24 hours for processing.
  • After placing an order you should receive 2 e-mails: one with payment information and another one with software download instructions.

    The e-mail with software download instructions will be sent to the License Holder's email account specified in the order form. It will contain the license holder's login credentials and download instructions. This e-mail should arrive within 15 minutes after you placed the order.

    You will be able to download the software from Your Account. You will only need to follow the instructions in the order confirmation e-mail sent to the end-user.

  • We are very proud that only a few customers have requested a refund because we provide a quality pre-sales experience:

    • Our trials are fully functional
    • Our evaluation licenses include thirty days of free trial support, so you can contact our technical support team
    • Our products are well-documented and they are supplemented with a vibrant, active on-line community

    Returns are honored by special request only and cannot be guaranteed. Generally, we make refunds only in case a credit card was stolen and used to purchase a Telerik product license.

    There are no refunds on subscription renewals. For refunds on initial license purchases, please contact sales with the reason(s) why you are requesting a refund, and a member of our team shall respond promptly to your inquiry.
  • Once your order is finalized, you will receive an email receipt for the payment.

    In case you need an official PDF invoice, you can request one by posting us a ticket through your Telerik account (the account under which the purchase has been made). When you login you need to go to: "Your Account">> "View Order History", and from there you will be able to request an invoice for any of your orders.

  • As payment methods we accept credit cards, wire transfers and checks.

    To pay with wire transfer or check, please send us the following information, so that we can generate a Proforma invoice for you:
    · Your billing address
    · Your shipping address
    · The license holder e-mail address
    · The license(s) you would like to purchase
    · The quantity
    · If you would like the subscription included
    · Your VAT ID (if applicable)

    When you send the payment, please include the Proforma invoice number with the wire details.

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, JCB, Diners Club and Carte Blanche. The advantage of using a credit card to make your payment is that your order will be processed immediately and you will be able to download the software without delay. If your CC is not mentioned in the list above, you can also pay via bank transfer or check. In that case you will need to send us a Purchase Order.

  • Progress accepts checks issued in US dollars. Please, make your checks payable to:

  • Test Studio Special Pricing

  • Yes, we offer discounts to established educational, government, non-profit and charity entities. Our standard discount is 10%. These special discounts cannot be combined with any other type of discount.

    To qualify for the discount, you need to send us a document clearly indicating that you are a member of the respective institution. An official e-mail from your official account which bears your signature is sufficient in most cases.
