The 2nd Japanese Statistical Delegation to Mongolia
The 2nd Japanese Statistical Delegation to Mongolia visited Mongolia from June 3 to 7, 2024.
The delegation visited the National Statistical Office of Mongolia (NSO), where they exchanged greetings with Mr. Batdavaa Batmunkh, Chairman of NSO, and they had discussions with the NSO staff concerning official statistical system, human resource and recent efforts in household surveys.
In addition, the delegation visited Tuv province statistics office and exchanged information about statistical works in local area.
The delegation is based on the Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) between NSO and SBJ, which was signed in February 2017 to establish the basis for in depth cooperation between both sides in the area of official statistics and other related fields of mutual interests.

Participants of the "Next Leaders for Statistics and DX Exchange Program2024" visited the Statistics Bureau of Japan
On July 4, 2024, six participants of the "Next Leaders for Statistics and DX Exchange Program 2024" visited the SBJ from the Republic of Latvia as part of the program. They received lectures on the "Outline of the SBJ" and "Portal Site of Official Statistics (e-Stat) and Statistical GIS".
