Research

We analyze the causes of international and intrastate conflicts and look for ways to resolve them.

As one of the leading peace research institutes in Europe, we combine interdisciplinary fundamental research with knowledge transfer to politics, media, and society.

Dialogue & Education

We engage critically with the academic mainstream and with the political zeitgeist, providing impetus for academic and political debates, both nationally and internationally.

We develop courses of action for ministries, political parties, NGOs and companies, providing them with background knowledge and analyses.
