2.Supplemental discussion on issues for reforming the Civil Code (law of obligations)
After reviewing the whole major issues at the second stage, the members had supplemental discussion taking account of deliberation at past meetings and sectional meetings based on Material No.50. Concrete issues discussed are as follows.
・ Statutory interest rate
・ Enrichment of measures to protect guarantors
・ Adjustment of provisions on negotiable instruments
・ Set-off
Issues for discussion stated in Material No.51 were left to a later meeting.
