Vice Minister Tsuji sent video message to the 19th ASLOM (October 7, 2020)
The 19th ASEAN Senior Law Officials Meeting (ASLOM) was held by video conference from 6 to 7 October 2020.
Vice Minister of Justice TSUJI Hiroyuki's video message was played on the second day of the ASLOM, and he expressed his hope that the Japan-ASLOM Consultation will be held in the near future.

Excellencies, distinguished representatives of ASLOM, ladies and gentlemen,
My name is TSUJI Hiroyuki, the Vice Minister of Justice of Japan.
I wish to commend the ASEAN Member States and the Secretariat for holding the ASLOM despite the ongoing global pandemic.
It is regrettable that the Japan-ASLOM Consultation had to be postponed, but I truly hope that the consultation will take place in the near future.
I am sincerely looking forward to meeting you all and having a fruitful discussion on strengthening Japan-ASEAN cooperation.
