Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Justice attended the Justice Ministers’ Conference: Supporting the ICC and its Investigation into the Situation in Ukraine Co-hosted by the UK and Netherlands.
On March 20, 2023, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Justice TAKAMI Hiroyuki participated in the Justice Ministers’ Conference: Supporting the ICC and its Investigation into the Situation in Ukraine in London co-hosted by the UK and Netherlands in London.
Justice Ministers and Representatives from 42 countries including G7 and EU participated in the Conference.
The participants discussed effective measures to support the activities of ICC as well as to address the situation in Ukraine in a more practical manner.
As the margin of the Conference, Parliamentary Vice-Minister TAKAMI held meetings with Mr. Marco Buschmann, Federal Minister of Justice of Germany, Mr. Carlo Nordio, Minister of Justice of Italy, Mr. Mike Freer, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Ministry of the Justice of the UK, and Ms. Helene Treheux Duchene, French Ambassador to the UK and requested their support for the G7 Justice Minister’s Meeting to be held in Tokyo this year.
