Vice-Minister of Justice delivered a statement at an online high-level side event during the Conference of the Parties of UNTOC
On October 12, 2020, Vice-Minister Tsuji participated in an online high-level side event organized by the government of Italy and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) during the Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC).
Opening remarks were delivered by Ms. Ghada Waly, Executive Director of UNODC and Ms. Marina Sereni, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy. Following the opening remarks, Vice-Minister Tsuji delivered a statement on the significance of UNTOC.
Vice-Minister Tsuji also encouraged to join the Kyoto Congress, which is to be held in March 2021.
