Justice Minister Received a Courtesy Call from the Minister of Justice of Vietnam
Justice Minister Yamashita received a courtesy call from Mr. Le Thanh Long, Minister of Justice of Vietnam on April 3, 2019.
Minister Yamashita welcomed Minister Le Thanh Long to the Ministry of Justice of Japan and expressed his appreciation for having accepted his official visit to Vietnam when he was a Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Justice in August 2018. They exchanged views on strengthening the friendly ties between Japan and Vietnam in the field of justice affairs. In addition, the Minister encouraged high-level representatives from Vietnam to participate in the 14th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, which is to be held in Kyoto in 2020.
