Justice Minister Received Courtesy Call from the Prosecutor General of Egypt

Justice Minister Yamashita received a courtesy call from Mr. Nabeel Ahmad Tawfik Sadek, Prosecutor General of Egypt, on September 10, 2019. Minister Yamashita welcomed Prosecutor General Sadek to the Ministry of Justice of Japan, and they exchanged views on strengthening the friendly ties between Japan and Egypt in the field of justice affairs. In addition, the Minister encouraged high-level representatives from Egypt to participate in the 14th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, which is to be held in Kyoto in 2020.
