Minister of Justice’s Visit to the Republic of Poland and the Kingdom of the Netherlands

Following the visit to Ukraine, Mr. KOIZUMI Ryuji, Minister of Justice, visited to the Republic of Poland and the Kingdom of the Netherlands from August 6 to August 8, 2024.

In the Republic of Poland, Minister Koizumi met with H.E. Dr. Adam Bodnar, Minister of Justice and Prosecutor-General, and H.E. Mr. Tomasz Siemoniak, Minister of Interior and Administration. He also took this opportunity to visit the UNICEF Education and Development Center. In the meeting with Minister Bodnar, views were exchanged on the support for anti-corruption measures in Ukraine, and with Minister Siemoniak discussions were made on the situation of people who fled the war in Ukraine and measures to support them. On the visit to the UNICEF Education and Development Center, Minister Koizumi listened to their initiatives to support children from Ukraine.
In the Kingdom of Netherlands, Minister Koizumi visited the International Criminal Court (ICC) and met with Ms. Tomoko Akane, President of the ICC and Mr. Karim A. A. Khan KC, Prosecutor of the ICC, and exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation between the MOJ and the ICC.
