The 2008 Report on Compliance by Major Trading Partners with Trade Agreements - WTO, FTA/EPA, BIT- has been adopted on May 8 by the Subcommittee on Unfair Trade Policies and Measures (Chairman: Mitsuo MATSUSHITA, Professor of Law, Seikei University) of the Industrial Structure Council.

In response to the report, METI has released "METI Priorities on WTO Inconsistent Foreign Trade Policies" ("METI Priorities") , containing items and related actions deemed to be of a high priority in implementing future trade policies.
