Minister Saito Holds Meeting with H.E. Ms. Pimphattra Wichaikul, Minister of Industry, Thailand

On Thursday, February 8, Mr. Saito Ken, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry held a meeting with H.E. Ms. Pimphattra Wichaikul, Minister of Industry of the Kingdom of Thailand. The two ministers exchanged views on the next-generation automobile industry and other issues toward the realization of "co-creation," the joint creation of industries and human resources for the future of both countries.
With the aim of early launch of "Energy and Industry Dialogue" agreed at the Japan-Thailand Summit Meeting last December, both ministers exchanged documents describing priority areas for both ministries, such as decarbonizing manufacturing processes and promoting industrial human resource development, and agreed to strengthen cooperation.
