Summary of the Meeting

On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Nishimura held a meeting with the Hon. Mark McGowan, MLA Premier of Western Australia. During the meeting, they exchanged views on cooperation in the energy sector, including LNG and mineral resources, and agreed to expect further progress in the future. They also confirmed that they would work with the State of Western Australia to strengthen future cooperation between Australia and Japan as a whole.
