On September 5 (Mon.), Mr. Nishimura Yasutoshi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry received a courtesy call from the Honorable Sanjay Kumar Verma, Ambassador of India to Japan.

On September 5 (Mon.), Mr. Nishimura Yasutoshi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, received a courtesy call from the Honorable Sanjay Kumar Verma, Ambassador of India to Japan.
The two welcomed the progress of Japan-India economic cooperation through the bodies such as the Japan-India Special Strategic and Global Partnership. They also discussed Japan-India cooperation in various areas including the India-Japan Industrial Competitiveness Partnership, the Supply Chain Resilience Initiative, energy, and so forth. In addition, they confirmed the two countries' cooperation as the chairs of the G7 and G20 respectively next year.
