Minister Nishimura Holds a Teleconference with H.E. Ms. Gina M. Raimondo, United States Secretary of Commerce

On August 25, Minister Nishimura held a teleconference with H.E. Ms. Gina M. Raimondo, United States Secretary of Commerce. Minister Nishimura and Secretary Raimondo exchanged views on a variety of issues, such as strengthening cooperation on semiconductors between Japan and the U.S. and promoting the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF). The two principals also discussed topics including advancing collaboration between Japan and the U.S. on promoting the deployment of Open RAN.
