Parliamentary Vice-Minister Iwata Attends the 54th Japan-Korea Business Conference

On Monday, May 30, Mr. Iwata Kazuchika, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, attended the 54th Japan-Korea Business Conference, and delivered an address on behalf of the Japanese government.
On Monday, May 30, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Iwata Kazuchika gave a guest address at the 54th Japan-Korea Business Conference, whose hosts included the Japan-Korea Economic Association and the Korea-Japan Economic Association.
His address included the following points. Firstly, businesspeople in both Japan and South Korea will be expected to cooperate with each other in various projects in order to maintain the close economic relations between the two countries. Secondly, considering the current strained relations between the two nations, the Japanese government will, while maintaining its consistent position, communicate closely with South Korea's President Yoon Suk-yeol and his new administration in order to restore sound bilateral relations.
