Minister Hagiuda Participates in the Extraordinary Meeting of G7 Energy Ministers

On March 10 (Thu.), Mr. Hagiuda Koichi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, participated in the Extraordinary Meeting of G7 Energy Ministers.
An Extraordinary Meeting of G7 Energy Ministers was held to discuss the energy situation in light of the current situation in Russia and Ukraine.
During the meeting, Minister Hagiuda spoke of the importance of strengthening energy market stability and energy security by working together in solidarity as the G7 to ensure stable supply and diversification of energy sources. A ministerial statement was adopted incorporating these perspectives.
