The UILangCode extension implements the {{UILANGCODE}} magic word to get the interface language of the current user.
Installation
[edit ]- Download and move the extracted
UILangCodefolder to yourextensions/directory.
Developers and code contributors should install the extension from Git instead, using:cdextensions/ gitclonehttps://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/mediawiki/extensions/UILangCode - Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:
wfLoadExtension( 'UILangCode' );
- Yes Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
Usage
[edit ]{{UILANGCODE}}
This will make the parser cache vary per user language, greatly decreasing hit rate and increasing storage.
