Two WPI CORE center projects or one WPI Multiple HOST center project
○しろまるImplementation period:10 years
WPI CORE centers: An interim evaluation will be carried out five years after project starts.
WPI Multiple HOST center: Multiple reviews and evaluations will be conducted throughout the grant period, including stage-gate screening in line with stages of the center’s growth

○しろまるAppropriations Plan:
WPI CORE centers
expenditures should be in principle 500円 million for each fiscal year during the period between the center’s selection and its passing the stage-gate screening. The center must pass stage-gate screening by the fifth year of operation and develop an appropriation plan for an expenditure of up to 700 million yen per year in principle from the year following its stage-gate screening.
WPI Multiple HOST center
expenditures should be in principle 1円 billion for each fiscal year.
