Andrea Saks, the Chair, Lidia Best and Christopher Jones, Vice Chairs of ITU JCA-AHF were saddened to receive news of the passing of Gerry Ellis who was one of the three Vice Chairs of the JCA-AHF. We have appreciated his excellent knowledge of accessibility and for his profound input in our work at ITU. It has been most important to understand the needs of persons with visual disabilities. Gerry has been involved in other accessibility groups such as DCAD, IGF, ISO etc.
Our condolences goes to Gerry,s wife and his children. Also to Danny, his personal assistant.
