Introduction
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is organizing a workshop on "Cloud Computing Standards - Today and the Future" on 14 November 2014. The event will be held at ITU's Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, during the SGs 11 and 13 co-located rapporteur groups activities from 10 to 21 November 2014.
Objectives
Since the beginning of ITU-T cloud computing activities in 2010, several recommendations have been developed by ITU-T Study Group 13, two of which were developed in collaboration with ISO/IEC JTC1. This workshop will therefore present the main ITU-T achievements in the domain of cloud computing in service requirements, vocabulary, reference architecture, inter-cloud, management and security. The workshop will be organized in cooperation with other SDOs.
Target Audience
This event will bring together telecom operators, regulators, service providers and vendors as well as a broad audience within the Telecom/ICT and cloud computing industry.
