tsbevents@itu.int IntroductionThe International Telecommunication Union and IEEE 802 organized a workshop at the ITU Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland on 25 January 2020. This workshop intended to offer a platform for all involved stakeholders and aimed to focus on topics of common interest such as optical interfaces, mobile fronthaul, 5G mobile transport, passive optical network (PON), management and YANG modeling.
This workshop was held in conjunction with the IEEE 802.1 and IEEE 802.3 interim meetings (20-24 January 2020), and the ITU-T Study Group 15 meeting
(27 January – 7 February 2020) in ITU Headquarters, Geneva.
Target Audience
Participation in the workshop was open to ITU Member States, Sector Members, Associates and Academic Institutions and to any individual from a country that is a member of ITU who wished to contribute to the work. This included individuals who are also members of international, regional and national organizations. Participation in the workshop was free of charge.
