Introduction
At the kind invitation of the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the International Telecommunication Union is organizing a Workshop on "Smart Sustainable Cities" in Samarkand , Uzbekistan, 1-2 June 2017.
Objectives
The objectives of the workshop are to share, discuss the trends, best practices, studies, challenges and opportunities on Smart Sustainable Cities. The workshop also aims at promoting the work of ITU-T SG20 in the CIS region, and identifying a path forward.
Target Audience
ITU Member States, ICT regulators, policymakers, mayors, ICT manufacturers, telecom operators, international organizations and academia.
