    The Bluetooth Glucose Profile, Version 1.0, is needed to allow device inter-connectivity within the Continua Design Guidelines personal area network architecture. This specification defines a short-range communications system intended to replace the cable(s) connecting portable and/or fixed electronic devices for glucose sensors.
