Super Gem 1 Location

From the starting area, immediately go down the ladder into the water. The first Super Gem is sitting underneath the beginning point of the stage and accessible by a passageway.

Super Gem 2 Location

Inside the hollow log at the top of the stage, walk back toward the gushing water (that was just activated by the switch) and obtain the second Super Gem.

Super Gem 3 Location

Activate the second switch. But instead of going back into the water, fall off the ledge at the edge of the stage and go up the ramp to the third Super Gem.

Bonus Challenge

Find the Gold Mushroom. Instead of falling out of the top log by the Power Star, drop down onto the log with the two Ant Troopers. Make your way to the far side of the log, where there is an invisible Pluck Patch. Pull it up to find and grab the Gold Mushroom.
