This game made me cry, somehow. I don’t know, Tetris is just a beautiful game. We should’ve sent this into space with the voyager instead of that record.

Easy recommend if you like Hades or any other game by this studio. Was my favorite as a teenager and the first game I 100%.

Got an email that my request to add gnorps to this app was finally met Gnorp Apologue is an idle game with an ending. It stays in the corner of your screen making bright explosive colors. It tells a tale of mortal folly and boundless greed which might just hold some lessons about real life. Just like the gnorps I also feel like I'm bashing my head against a rock for meaningless rewards and want to blow the rock to smithereens.

Short walking sim horror you can knock out in a day. The specificity of the setting is richly realized and benefits from the realistic graphics, and, dare I say it, is really immersive!(Unlike the abstract mindscapes of say, a Bloober team game.) Light amount of interaction throughout to keep you focused. Well worth it on Game Pass.

The venn diagram of YA fantasy fans and adults willing to spend 60ドル on one was small but there's clear talent on display. Fun gameplay, hammy voice acting, charming melodrama. Combat has you switching weapons between enemies, flipping between support sidearms, comboing special abilities. Visually things get overwhelming and sometimes in the thick of combat I could only see enemy health bars. Sometimes objective markers disappear, and the side missions are in a generic void with shifting blocks a la Control. Well worth playing on Game Pass. I wish the company was still around.

If you LOVE getting every collectible in open world games, this is for you, just a big recreation of Tokyo to run around in collecting a million little things. But outside of that, there’s few interesting set pieces to recommend - the haunted school that came with the DLC, maybe the opportunity to chase yokai. Some things on the skill tree new players SHOULD have at the start- like letting you farm XP faster, or dodging, or the damn grappling hook. Not letting new players have the full range of movement at the start and making them spend xp ON xp farming risks losing them from frustration. You do not see other characters outside of the few cutscenes, and just hearing their voices either over the phone or literally in your characters head make the story underwhelming. Again, this is a game you play if your idea of fun is scavenger hunts, just combing over a huge map for things. Now that I’ve scratched that itch I’m read a book before picking up a new game...
