Listen...for an indie developer the game is pretty great. It's unique, is an old school horror vibe, although it is a bit simple. I always enjoy the head creator's vision for the story - if not how he showcases it. The guy is a choppy storyteller and it really needs to be addressed by this point. But I will continue to support.

I've never interacted with a piece of media that had me so engaged and was so thought-provoking- especially about actual life. Somehow none of the puzzles were obtuse to the point of needing telepathy skills. Everything was solely about being curious, being able to see things from new perspectives, and the incredible human trait of doubt.

A little more straight-forward and transparent than its predecessor but still an awesome game. I loved watching the descent into madness and I really wish that had gone on longer in the game. The action is smooth and addictive. A few hidden mechanics that are not overtly explained.
If you are making any patches, please make the final decision for the epilogue clearer.

Yes, yes. No game can ever outshine the actual original. But this game is pretty good. At first I was kind of upset they were bringing Max back. But I actually do see why they used her for this.
But yes, I think we can let the series go after Reunion.

I mean is there really anything to say? This game is perfect. Props to the team that actually knew how to create a sequel.

I really liked the game, and the originality behind it. The setting and story are all great, the art style is great, and the characters and their gameplay are great.
I think this game wants you to think of it like 4D chess where you are working on multiple levels and keeping track of multiple people and places at once. Through this game, I found out I didn't really have the ability to do that. I found it pretty difficult and I almost wished the game forced me to have to, because usually I could just kill someone or knock someone out and be done with it. At the same time, it is also almost impossible not to make progress in the game.
I hope they continue to evolve this format because I like it, and think it can be done even better.

Hmm this game had a lot of questionable design choices but somehow still came together to form a fairly good package. I liked the story, and felt engaged with it even though pac-man was a total *&@!. It was dark but fun and still light-hearted. I enjoyed collecting everything and I think the exploration and map was also fairly well done. When I first saw how much I had to do, and how much money you get, I thought I'd find it grindy but I actually enjoyed collecting. It's a game that definitely understands metroidvania titles and copies them mostly successfully.

I was really enjoying this game until I got to the end. The game was scary and stressful and then the final level is so anti-climactic. And I didn't understand anything which was intentional but when looking at what the ending actually is, none of it is even remotely hinted at. You had to have played Outlast 1 (which I have but years ago) and you had to have read some comics. I don't need everything spelled out for me but I shouldn't only be able to understand a story by other games and media- it brought the game down considerable points, for a game I was otherwise enjoying.

Factually I know this game is not for everyone, but I am actually so mad I ended up in the timeline where this game didn't become the gold standard for JRPGs

A fun romp that does try to leave a message and for the most part succeeds. The secrets and puzzles are simple but fun.

Both Grace and Leon were great characters to play. The game had a couple of surprising moments where it tested me. I really liked the survival horror roots. And thank you thank you for letting us switch between first and third person, because first person really stops me from feeling immersed in a game.
I will say, as with any other Resident Evil game, it ends and I'm always just like, "yeah it was just good". For some reason Resident Evil never really stands out to me and this game was no different despite being a fun time.
Luckily, I got to borrow it from a friend, I knew I would not want to pay full price for it.

Honestly, I liked Double Exposure more than this game.
I don't like that I felt forced into a relationship with Chloe. They were also trying to go heavy on the sci-fi without any of the actual thought provoking moments. Sci-fi like that should really be trippier than what it was.
Also, I was able to figure out the final decision for Chloe, but with Max, the game said based on what I've done here is the answer, and I had absolutely no idea what they were referring to. But I picked it and was correct. I really paid attention during the story and reading so I'm not sure what I missed but the final choice felt a little lackluster and the fact it ended up being the game telling me what to pick took away a lot of the impact of what Life Is strange is supposed to mean.

Honestly, this game gets a 7 because of nostalgia. Honestly, without the music, it feels like we got sold a downgrade. It was even fun to revisit but I had the same complaints as I did when I was young. The enemy speed is a bit too fast, making combos difficult to perform. The game is too short (and somehow too long). It's a great vibe for its ride. I wanted to keep playing but I tried time attack and learning I had to sit through the ENTIRE game in one sitting? What the hell? Why gatekeep your game like that, I deleted it immediately after I found out I wasted an hour on time attack that I couldn't pick up again. Doing it all at once while being speedy also makes you realize the camera is taken out of your control at almost every turn and you can't skip most of them. It's delivers on the vibe it shows but I would say this game is purely a vibe, and it deserved better treatment.

I wanted to want to see the other endings but I just don't have it in me to replay the game. It was interesting, if a little more on rails than I thought. And the 3 endings I viewed left me more confused and I don't trust the other endings to make it any clearer.

A solid game. It remains a bit rough around the edges and is highly repetitive but is mostly fun and the lore is engaging to sift through and try to keep up with. If you can make peace or have fun with the fact that every chapter basically starts the same then you can enjoy it.

Interesting idea, and with some more polish could have been something pretty good. In my opinion they do the one thing Horror games should never do. Because it is very easy to die, and the checkpoints are fairly infrequent you can end up doing a lot of things over and over again. This completely destroys any tension. I especially found myself getting to end of an area just to die and have to do the whole area over again. Wouldn't play again but not unhappy that I played it at all.
