Starts pretty sluggish early on, and disappointing that it feels like there's less player control than in Until Dawn. But I think it gets pretty thrilling in the second half, and it's introduced a smart new online component for this type of choice-based genre

Incredible, emotional voice acting, and left me with one of the best videogame stories I've ever experienced. However... Nearing the game's end, and the stealth sections, combat, and bosses all get frustrating and highlights how crude the gameplay still is.

Side content, including The Citadel DLC elevat*****ready remarkable experience, that has smooth combat, improved rpg mechanics, and a story for the ages, ending be damned. My main issue is it can be glitchy at times, and it's severely missing the team relationships of Mass Effect 2.

Essentially, it's "Girl of War" to the Santa Monica mega franchise, but that's not a bad thing. This is an impressive production, and I did love the story, the boss fights, even the arrow shooting segments that break up the monotony. It's just waaaay too short!

I wish more could be done with it visually, and it could help a little more with templates, but otherwise, its a very cool game-creator with incredible tools.

A puzzle side-scroller that does a lot with a dark atmosphere. Love its minimalist style and how you don't know what to expect with every section.

An improved sequel that's genuinely scary, thanks to its macabre atmosphere. But Sebastian controls slow, which makes the combat suck. Along with broken stealth and stingy resource management, I've had a better time with other horror games.

Not as good as MKX. Story is too out there, Character models are less appealing, the fighting feels slower, and Ronda Rousey as Sonya was ill-advised. But I like the Fatal blows, Brutalities are back, and MK11 is loaded with features. Even though the Krypt is impossible, I found myself returning to it.
There are headaches like the gear grind, random rewards and the always-online component that just don't feel right for Mortal Kombat. This are all aspects of Neatherrealm's OTHER fighting series, Injustice, so in a lot of ways MK11 just feels like more of that but with a Mortal Kombat skin.

Repetitive Package delivery is annoying. The baby is annoying. Timefall, which rains and damages your stuff is annoying. The MULEs who try to steal your stuff are annoying. B.Ts that you have to try and sneak by are annoying. The terrain designed to make you fall is annoying. Vehicles that should make things easier, but are also useless- because of the terrain- are annoying. Characters with stupid names are annoying. Cryptic non-nonsensical plots are annoying. And if this review going on and on is annoying, welcome to how Death Stranding feels. Every aspect of this game annoys.
And yet... The idea of connectivity and helping others is a neat one. This is a meditative journey that may work for some, but it wasn't my cup of tea.
Beautiful graphics, though.

I appreciated how the shifting gun and powers inspire creativity. I even appreciated the mind-*** atmosphere. But it serves a mumbo jumbo story that was complete gibberish to me, not helped by a protagonist that sounds so bored every time she speaks.
Levitation is fun, I'll give it that. But the maps are confusing, and difficulty spikes with the bosses make Control a rather infuriating shooter. If not for The incredible "Ashtray Maze" section, I don't know what else I even remember from this.

Giving Star Wars, the "Uncharted" treatment, makes for one of the most cinematic games I've played from this franchise. Battles can get frustrating at times, but the light saber combat still always feels great. I loved exploring, and with some environmental puzzles, Fallen Order can downright feel like Tomb Raider sometimes. However, level design and the in-game map can be confusing. Visually, it looks awesome too- if you can ignore the constant load times and texture pop-in.

Not as high on this as others, but that's just because RPGs aren't my genre. But I gave it a shot. It's fine.

There's more to do than ever, and the heist system is a great progression (from GTA 4's best mission). The characters and switching between them is cool, but it's really all about Trevor.

Breathtaking. The world details are the best ever made. And it adds even more depth to a game that already had a great story. If I had to nitpick anything, I guess movement can feel lumbering and stiff. And grindy hunting is a chore.
