This is what a perfect game looks like. This is the standard I rate my games off of. It knows what it wants to be and goes with it, chill DS Windwaker with a sprinkle of Animal Crossing. The most relaxed I’ve been playing a game and the most connected I’ve felt to a game’s world in a long time.

While I’d make it second best when it comes to Toys to Life games, it’s still very rough around the edges. The amount of content locked behind 20ドル+ figure packs is impossible to look past.

Honestly, with how most LEGO games on DS go, this is surprisingly decent. For the age group it was made for (me at the time I played it) it’s pretty great.

Soooo why does this exist? It’s just so odd in every way. Who asked for this? Who said they wanted a console pushing prequel to a good game on 3DS that now looks like Silent Hill on the transition over? Idk man, I still played it.

How. How do you make a game so incredibly perfect in every way. Everything about this game is utterly fine tuned to the last letter. Everyone on the planet needs to play this game, gamer or not.

The concept was interesting, the gameplay felt like a 2D adaptation of PS1 Survival horror games like RE and Silent Hill, but the ending was so rushed and kinda ruined it.

The multiplayer was the only reason this game had any merit. When it’s removed...you might as well just watch a cutscene compilation and act like it’s a new movie. At least the acting was decent.
