I don't enjoy most horror games, but I adored this one. SOMA doesn't rely on jumpscares to fill you with dread. The atmosphere of the world is daunting, the mysteries you unravel disturbing, and the ending thought-provoking. I was so drawn into the story and intrigue of the game that I pushed through the fear. Admittedly a couple of the sections could have been more fluid, but nothing that hinders the overall game. When I finished this game, I sat at my desk for half an hour and contemplated life. Just a banger game.

Fantasy Life is an incredibly charming game with humour and fun for days. You work to master 12 different lives from crafts, to fighting, to resource gathering. All the lives interact and contribute to one another. The customisation in this game is very cute and is similar to Professor Layton in appearance. You can also decorate your room, get a variety of pets, and purchase a horse. I have hundreds of hours in this game, having completed the game fully 3 times, including the Origin Island DLC. This game has been a longstanding source of comfort and joy for me personally.

An incredible and stunning follow-up to Senua's Sacrifice. I cried a lot playing this. As a bipolar individual, I felt so seen playing through this game, even though I don't experience psychosis. I have never encountered a piece of media that so closely represents what I go through. The game has incredible replayability if you find the collectibles (without spoiling, you unlock new perspectives on the game). Even on the lowest graphics, this game wows with visuals and the sound design once again draws you into Senua's world like nothing else. I just adore the Hellblade games and cannot sing their praises enough.
