Fargo

1929 The Chrysler company's new commercial chassis was named Fargo. Two models will be marketed in Britain, the first, a 30 cwt., was displayed by Chrysler Motors on its stand at the Commercial Motor Exhibition.[1] . This was the first appearance of Chrysler Motors, Ltd., of Kew Gardens, Surrey, in the field of commercial vehicles. A smaller type for 15-cwt. loads will shortly be available.[2]

The Fargo Freighter was a one-ton truck that was also offered in Britain up to 1930. It was a 14 seat PSV.

Some British built Dodge chassis in the 1930s were exported as Fargos.

1949 A Fargo 5-ton chassis was one of the export models built by Dodge Brothers (Britain), Ltd., was displayed at the Geneva Show. This was one of a new range.[3]

1955 Chrysler Motors exhibited British Dodge models in Brussels under the names of Fargo and De Soto [4] .

1971 The Fargo name was used for export versions of the Dodge 500 series.[5]
