Bio

Hello all! I started an account here because Find A Grave has been INCREDIBLY helpful in my family genealogical research. I have somehow become the family Genealogist. I'm not sure how it happened, but I've come to accept my role and the endless hours of "going down the rabbit hole" that come with it. My goal here is to keep the memorials of my relatives, whether they be distant or close, accurate and up to date. Since Find A Grave has been so helpful to me, I want to ensure it remains helpful for years to come, and hopefully make things easier for the future Genealogists in my family. I will not provide photos, create new memorials, or request updates for anyone who is not a relation, as I feel it is not my place.

Memorial Transfers
If I notice that a deceased relative has a decent amount of missing or inaccurate information, I may ask for a memorial transfer. Please do not take this personally, as everyone makes mistakes. I might also have access to information that you do not.
If you are more closely related to a memorial that I manage and would like it transferred to you, please let me know. Please let me know how you are related to them, and then I will make the switch immediately.

Update Requests
If one or two facts or links to deceased relatives are missing/incorrect on a decedent's memorial, I will ask for it to be updated. I can provide proof of the correction/addition upon request, in the form of census records, obituaries, death certificates, etc.
If you notice a memorial I manage has omissions or errors, please let me know, and provide some kind of documentation as to the change.
