Hello. I use Find-a-Grave (FG) and FamilySearch (FS) to upgrade both data sets. Most memorials I create, although without gravestone photos until added by another volunteer, are created from data records and linked with other memorials.

Many memorials I manage are available for transfer upon request, except those that memorialize my relatives or others particularly important to me. I'll transfer beyond FG's requirements, and perhaps include related memorials.

I sometimes include "uncomfortable facts," guided by a woman with such facts in her history. She wrote "I think leaving bread crumbs so others can find their way is always helpful. There are plenty of errors as well as deliberate coverups in many [FS sources]. ... relatives are searching for the truth and you are giving it to them. It's a gift."
