I got started by just taking photographs, but when we moved to Menomonie a couple of years ago, I adopted Evergreen Cemetery as my primary focus to learn about the people and history of the area. I now manage around 5000 FG memorials for Evergreen Cemetery of around 6500 total cemetery records. The latest online database still has some display issues, but we have added hyperlinks to FG memorials for most burials and Google Maps that should be accurate to less than 20 feet error. If you live in the area and want to help, we are doing volunteer projects to raise markers that have gone below the grass level. We use support mats where necessary to assure that they don't sink again, so hands and donations are appreciated.
