I'm a lifelong resident of the Delmarva Penninsula on Maryland's eastern shore and, more recently, in Delaware.
An amateur genealogist, I have enjoyed studying my ancestry in the Laurel, DE area and Philadelphia, also some in England, specifically, Hinkley in Sapcote, Leicestershire. Family names that I have researched include: Abbott, Smith, Morris, Barnes, Pomeroy, Carr, Middleton - paternally (mostly Philadelphia), and Elliott, Hearn, Beauchamp, O'Neal, Chipman, Boyce, Waller, and Messick (Laurel-Delmar)- maternally.
