Dad's family is from the Mississippi Delta. Family names are Green-Dickey, Green-Jacks, and Dickey-Taylor. Mom's family is from the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. Her family names are Manship-Tart, Manship-Gibson, and Tart-Bethea.

Part of the reason that I go graving is to pay back into the Find A Grave database, but in truth I have frequently wandered through cemeteries especially small country cemeteries that I spot while on day trips from my home or on longer road trips across the country. Now my wandering is more systemic as I look for people to memorialize in Find A Grave.
