I thought every one did this, and was surprised to find how very many did not. So many do not know where their families are.
I am fortunate so many of my ancestors are in that one place, back 5 generations. People relocate and are lost to extended family all scattered.
Even more, I am pleased to find volunteers that are willing to search out the last bits, identification, stones, in the cemeteries of others who they have no relationship to.
Now looking into my husband's family and back further into my own, I am getting pulled into this and enjoy finding the new and old stories/histories that are worth preserving.
Helping further this collecting and sharing of data is very exciting and I hope to help others, paying it forward.
