I have been working on family history over 60 years! It is very exciting to find new information about my "branches" on Find-A-Grave, when a graver has added the entire obit.

Also would like to say something to other members that never put the whole obituary on the bio. If you don’t want do it right; then don’t do it at all. If you are omitting vital info that family members need to be able to "connect their dots" along their family lines. Many people have the same names, hence without the complete obit, it makes it next to impossible to complete ones family history.
Families looking for their love ones need every detail. So please put the whole obituary in their bio.
Most obituaries are not copyrighted do to the fact they are written by the family and not the newspaper. Newspapers just print it. If the obituaries do not show a name under them with the person who wrote it. That means it was written by the family, so it is not copyrighted and it is public info.
