Now with the help of my cousin, I have
the names of hundreds of direct ancestors going all the way back to the first Mayflower crossing and beyond! Thank you, Harry, for sharing this wonderful treasure of over one thousand years of family history with me!
If anyone knows anything more about
WILLIAM F. BUCK b: abt 1834 in Fayette, Tennessee, mother is Pemia, brother Edward, and sister Mariah, PLEASE CONTACT ME! (This is NOT the same William Buck who was the son of Jonathan Range Buck and Elizabeth (Houston) Buck from Fentress, Tennessee.)
I believe our William was related to the three Buck brothers, John C., Ebenezer and Morgan Buck, who moved from Fayette, Tennessee to Clark County, Arkansas around 1837-40.
William "F" (not "P") married Sarah Elizabeth Thacker in 1859 in Clark County, Arkansas and was the father of Rebecca "Becky", Joseph "Joe", James William, and Mary Harriet (Buck) Rice. He is not listed in the 1880 census and may have died around 1872-3 in Clark County, Arkansas.
If any of this sounds familiar, I'd love to hear from you! Help me fill in the missing pieces of this family puzzle.
