My cousin Kathy Surma McHugh had collected some Parker family ancestry information about the year 2000. In July of 2001 Kathy printed out many copies and passed those out to her two siblings and her 38 surviving cousins on her Parker side.

It took me year or so before I discovered I had an interest in finding out more information about my ancestors. I decided to put Kathy's information in the form of a chart on my computer, so I could understand the information and relationships better. Then I decided that I wanted to add more names and information to the chart, including, of course, my mother and her parents and ancestors.

After I found a lot more information, then it became harder to find even more. So for something to do, I eventually created 12 more charts for various living and deceased relatives. They are posted for all to see for free on RootsWeb WorldConnect. A link to my chart is below.

In 2010, I started creating memorials here on FindAGrave. I also submit information to other people to add to memorials they created.

I very much want to thank a woman I have never met, Francine York, who very generously transferred the management to me of 17 Parker memorials she had created, after taking a photo of 17 grave markers in Old Oak Cemetery in Norridgewock, Maine.
