We began researching Julie's family many years ago. All of Julie's great grandparents came to the United States from the Netherlands. The family names we have been researching are: Pruis, Klunder, Kloostra, Vander Ploeg, also Timmer, Kloosterhuis, Demaar, and Bomers (Boomers). Our research has gone as good as can be expected, although we have struggled to get back into the 1700's. We have been told that Pruis is Prussian, but we have not been able to connect that dot. We have also started to expanded our research to include some of Jeff's family. His family names include: Steere, McConkie, Porter, Perkins and Ford. The majority of his ancestors' memorials have been created by others already. We are focusing mainly on family, however, when visiting cemeteries we sometimes snap extra pictures to post. If we should happen to create a memorial for someone in your family feel free to request a transfer thru the edit tab. We will gladly transfer if the person is not part of our family.
