I have been doing family history for many years. I started at an early age,as my mother would take our older relatives to Church Homecomings and Decoration Days and I would tag along. I loved the cemeteries and the stories of the folks resting there.

My paternal Jones line immigrated to the Mass/CT area in the 1630s, moved on to NY, and then came south to LA and MS in the mid 1800s.

My maternal Brewer/Gallop/Smith/Taylor line came from SC to Monroe County, MS and settled there.

My husband's Shults/Shultz/Schultz family is mostly located in TN and AL. His maternal lines are the Hursts, Watts and Sprayberrys of Clay Co, AL.
